- History -

Africa Peace is a non governmental and non profit making organisation engaged for peace through Human Rights, Governance, Women & Youth Participation in Africa registered in Benin on N° 2002/1145/MISD/DC/SG/DAI/SAAP – assoc., 16/05/02 .

It has been created in July 2001 (in follow up of the first African youth conference for the culture of peace in Cape Town, South Africa, June 30th – July 06th, 2001) and has been launched in Benin on march 12th  2002.

Its headquarter is based in Benin.
